After time on the river, rinse off in the showers and change before gathering in the dining halls or stopping by the café. Gazebos offer cooking facilities, pantry space and cold storage, along with fans, lighting, power sockets and seating.

Rafting starting points depend on river conditions: trips start at Riverbug Camp at lower water levels and at Pukak, Tamparuli, at higher water levels. These starting points are separate from Traverse Adventure Centre. The team will confirm your meeting location before your trip—please follow the location provided with your booking.
For packages with hotel transfers, follow the pickup arrangements confirmed by the team. Pickup locations listed in the supplied content include McDonald’s Api Api, Centre Point Mall, Suria Sabah Mall and Imago Mall. For other hotels outside Kota Kinabalu City Centre, pickup is from the respective hotel.

No. Beginners are welcome. Before entering the river, you will receive a safety briefing covering instructions and paddling basics.
Swimming ability is not compulsory, but it is recommended. Tell our team if you cannot swim or feel nervous in water.
Participants must be at least five years old. Please provide children’s ages when booking.
Participants should be in good general health. Rafting is unsuitable for pregnant guests or those with serious medical conditions. The approximate maximum weight is 120 kg, subject to assessment.
Wear clothing suitable for getting wet and secure footwear or sandals with straps. Bring a change of clothes, towel, sunscreen and insect repellent. Leave jewellery and valuables behind.
